I got a new dutch oven recipe book for my birthday. I had to try making bread. It worked great but next time I have to cut the recipe in half…….

Ripping up the deck.
It was finally time. The surface of the deck needed to be replaced. During the heat of the weekend, Stephanie and I started the “destruction”. It only took a couple of days but its going to look done when it’s done….including the 3 1/2 extra feet.
Fun with Jenda Paddle Sports
Stephanie and I decided to try something different this weekend. A quick check on the web and we found that our local guy was having a SUP (Stand Up Paddle boarding) class. The weather was great and so was the instruction from Jason, the owner of Jenda Paddle Sports was very informative. Stephanie only fell off about 3 times while I fell at least 6 times. Actually I stopped counting after 6. The course was held at the Baxter Conservation Beach.

This is one of my favorite pictures from Canada Day. The two Paramedics never met each other until the were both assigned to work the Barrhaven Canada Day celebrations. But both of them knew the organizer Darrell B. I know all of them! What do we have in common? We are 4 generations of Camp Opemikon Staff and Rover Crew Members. It is a small world.
