Ahhhhhh…Kiosk Campground. Its been ages since we have been here. And we can’t wait until we can get back. We landed on site 08. Site 05, was what we originally booked, but after the big rain, it was a bit of a mud hole. The staff was very helpful about us changing locations. Site 09, the one beside us was THE site to have though.
Day One – The weather was really nice. Warm and sunny. The views just as good. A little bit of hiking and a lot of book reading. It was warm enough we stayed out long enough in the evening to watch the stars and have a campfire. (Future booking…site 09 is awesome.)
Day Two – We decided to rent a canoe and take a tour of Kioshkokwi (Kiosk) Lake, collecting the only geocache in the area. It was under a rail bridge on a portage between Kioshkokwi Lake and Little Mink Lake. Again the weather was great. We stopped at one of the camping sites to have lunch. When we returned, we decided to do a little hiking on the trails.
