We set out on this years adventure at 10:30ish on Friday morning to head up to Calendar, ON to visit my Mom and Stan. It was a good day for traveling. After one fuel stop for the truck, a two fuel stops for the trucks occupants, we arrived around 16:00. We both could not believe how well the dogs traveled.
We spent the next two days visiting, booking flights to Mexico, and fixing some IT issues. Saturday night we went out to the North Bay Casino for dinner. I was really good.
The weather Saturday, and especially Sunday was cool and called for rain. Monday it was not going to be much better. We decided on Monday morning to move towards our next destination, the Dalewood Conservation Area. The travel times Google offered us seemed to be shorter than the time it actually took. We were aiming to have the dogs in the truck no more than 5 hours.
