September 7-8 Canisby Campground – Algonquin Park
The drive to Canisby was not ideal. No worries but the it rained hard in a lot of places and the wind was rocking the trailer around quite a bit. We arrived around 14:00, so we took advantage of the daylight and the break in the rain and visited the Algonquin Park Logging Museum, Visitor’s Centre, Opeongo Launch area, and the Lake of Two Rivers Store. The weather started to cool down so as soon as it got dark we headed inside….and started to watch the Downton Abbey series…..
Day two. The rain had stopped but it was still cool and cloudy. We spent most of the day in front of the campfire reading our books. While I went to the front gate to take a picture, I came across a moose. Unfortunately Stephanie was not with. That is our first large animal sighting.
